  This tapestry designed by William Morris in 1879 is a revival of the tapestry weaving technique and showcases Morris' often used "mille-flurs" motif. The tree of life is a mystical concept that appears in folklore, culture and fiction often relating to immortality.
 

  This high quality tapestry is woven on Jacquard looms.  Includes rod pocket for easy hanging.  Cotton 100%.  Spot clean only.  Midnight Blue background.  Measures 40" wide x 53" long.
